As a service industry, we believe it’s our social responsibility to assist the extended community. We do this through our support of various charities.
Bedford-Dianella proudly supports:
Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) Western Australia
When you spend $100 or more on items such as toys, collars, leads, shampoos, food and parasite prevention treatments (for fleas, worms, heartworm, ticks), available in our reception area, we contribute $1 to your choice of the charities we support.
Animals Australia – Animals Australia is the major national animal protection organisation. It investigates and exposes animal cruelty and conducts extensive public awareness campaigns to alter the way Australia treats its animals. Supporting Animals Australia is a natural fit for us.
BAWA Western Australia – Many Australians enjoy holidays in Bali each year but are appalled by the low standards of animal welfare. BAWA Western Australia is a local charity that contributes financial support to BAWA, a Bali-based non-profit organisation that neuters, feeds and provides veterinary treatment to dogs and educates the local and tourist population to improve animal welfare for all animals living in Bali.
CanTeen – Directly or indirectly, many of us are unfortunately affected by cancer. It’s particularly challenging for young people. We recognise the role of CanTeen in providing emotional support to young Australians who have cancer or who know someone they care about with cancer. We contribute to CanTeen throughout the year, and during October all pets released from our care after their stay with us go home wearing a bandanna in support of CanTeen’s annual National Bandanna Day on 30 October.
